What is a typical Sunday like at Cypress?
Stepping into an unfamiliar church for the first time can be a little intimidating and maybe even uncomfortable for some people. When you visit Cypress Baptist Church, you can expect to feel welcomed and accepted. Cypress is an intimate and dynamic church that is filled with infants, toddlers, children, teenagers, college students, single adults, married adults and senior saints. Whoever you are, you will be encouraged by our passionate worship and relevant Bible messages. You will notice that Cypress is very optimistic, and simply put "a caring place", but more importantly, we are a Christ-centered church.
We invite you to come as you are, and leave different than you came. Our Sunday services have evolved a lot throughout the years, but one core value that drives our services is that we want to creatively and effectively engage seekers and believers alike and to create an atmosphere where we all can worship and honor God together. The music is celebrative, blending new arrangements of classic hymns with fresh new songs of thanksgiving and praise. Our Sunday morning services are warm and welcoming.
What to wear?
We're more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. We have regular attendees who wear suits and dresses and others who wear jeans and t-shirts. Your clothing isn't important to God; your willing and open heart is.
Where are we located?
We are located at 4701 Palmetto Road in Benton. The easiest way to get here is go north on Airline Drive. The church is just 6 miles north of I220 on Airline Drive.
