Vacation Bible School
Colossal Coaster World will be June 10 to 14.  Through every twist, turn, and dive, Colossal Coaster World will challenge kids to face their fears and trust God. There’s excitement around every curve as kids learn that God has given them a spirit of power, love, and sound judgment. This VBS will be the ultimate ride for children who will be 5 by September 30 through completed grade 6.

Preschool
MomTIME for June will be Monday, June 3 at 6:00 PM in the Chapel. It is Craft Night and we will be making an easy patriotic craft for our homes. A picture of it is on the door posters in D Building. Bring a salad or dessert (fasting will be over) and another Mom. Childcare is provided.

Volunteers needed for Extended Teaching Care during the 10:45 Worship Services.  We need 6 new volunteers that would only serve ONE Sunday each quarter. You would be extremely rewarded for your time with lots of HUGS from our precious preschoolers. Contact Glenda to volunteer or for more information.

Teachers Needed!!! ...We are in need of Sunday School teachers! Some classes will need a lead teacher soon and other classes are in need of an extra adult helper and co-teacher. Please pray about this opportunity to serve our church and impact the future! Contact Stacy Rains for more information.

Senior Adults
SENIOR ADULT VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL... Mark your calendars now! Senior Adult VBS is scheduled for the week of June 3-7 at 10:00 AM each morning. Wonderful pastors will give a message each day, and we will also have great music and meals.

Let’s Go to Little Rock for “Steel Magnolias!!”... Come join the Senior Adult Ministry in a fun day trip to Little Rock, Arkansas on Wednesday, May 29.  This will be  day of fun, food, and entertainment at Murry’s Dinner Playhouse.  Here we will enjoy a wonderful buffet lunch and a hilarious production of “STEEL  MAGNOLIAS,” a show full of laughs and hair spray!!  This is a serious yet poignant look at six Southern women and their eccentricities, who meet at a local beauty parlor to discuss all that is happening in their lives.  . Many of you remember the popularity of this movie that introduced us to the wonderful Julia Roberts!  This tour is based on 40 passengers and includes round trip transportation, Murry’s Dinner Playhouse (for lunch) and a sandwich to take home.  The cost is $89.  Don’t miss this great day of camaraderie and fun!!

Church Family
Vacation Bible School is June 10-14. Teacher recruiting has begun ---we need your help! This year’s COLOSSAL COASTER WORLD will prove to be an exciting adventure to an amusement park. Contact Glenda or Stacy to sign up.

Children’s T-shirt sale is located on desk at east end of downstairs D Building. Purple t- shirts with “Loving God Loving People” are $5 each - child XS, S, M only. Blue or pink Cypress Baptist Church t-shirts are $2 each - child S, M, L only. See Glenda if you need help or change.

SPANISH LANGUAGE CLASS... Due to the number of mission trips and ministries to Spanish-speaking people, we have had inquiries about a class to learn conversational Spanish. If you would be interested in such a class, please make it known by calling Stephanie in the church office at 965-2296.

Cypress Tech will be starting again! We will begin classes this evening. The classes offered will be: a practical witnessing class, and a women’s Bible study.

VBS Collectibles are needed: plastic water bottles with lids (taking the label off would be helpful) and empty toilet paper tubes. Please bring them to D Bldg or the office. Thank you for your help.
