Many members of Cypress Baptist Church are active with Heart of Hope, a sanctuary for women.  The organization provides a safe haven where a young mother can decide what will be best for her and her baby.

Heart of Hope is a non-denominational, non-profit organization under the supervision of a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is made up of active Christians who volunteer to commit their time, prayer and resources to this ministry.  Heart of Hope serves young women between the ages of 11 and 20 years, focusing on providing physical, spiritual and emotional support as well as life skills education and decision-making skills. 
 

Mission Statement:

• To meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of young ladies facing a crisis pregnancy by walking beside them as they decide whether to parent or to place for adoption;
• To help them set career goals by instituting a plan of action; and
• To commit to aftercare for those who are not ready or able to return to their former life.
